Steven was recently announced as a Genre Winner for Drama in the 2010 Cyberspace Open, sponsored

by Creative Screenwriting Magazine.  

He also placed 2nd in the April 2010 MoviePoet Short Script competition for the first ten pages of his

script "Chasing Gideon." 

In 2009 Steven was a winner and finalist in the coWrite competition, an innovative community-sourced

screenplay developed in association with respected production company Benderspink (A History of Violence,

He is a member of Writer’s Boot Camp, was a finalist in the 2008 The Movie Deal screenplay

competition and has twice been a finalist in the NYC Midnight Screenwriting Competition (2007 & 2008). 

Steven holds degrees in Theater and Film/Video Production.  He lives in Portland, Oregon.
